My first assignment for my special topics illustration class was to create 26 unique illustrations for each letter of the alphabet with a scifi theme. The deadline was very short and seemed quite daunting. The requirements were;
square compostition ( no smaller than 3''x3'' )
each letter had to be obvious
I created my own alphabet based on earlier versions of braille.
Granted I took a more conceptual route I think my new alphabet works quite well.
